Many incidents happened and happening in Manipur after overthrown the constitutional Government of Manipur on 15 October 1949 and annexed Manipur to India by the Indian Government by passing an illegal order on 22 January 1950.

Indian occupying Manipur since 22 January 1950 while the Indian Independence Act 1947, India (Provisional Constitution) Order 1947 and India (Consequential Provision) Act 1949 are in operation in India. The Republic Constitution of India operated since 26 January 1950 in India (Dominion of India now the Union of India).
